GINGER COOKIES

First of all prepare the right amounts of ingredients needed:

50g of ground fresh ginger

50g butter

100g sugar

60g flour

3 tablespoons of milk

2 tablespoons of vanilla sugar

100g almond flakes

Peel the fresh ginger and make sure you have 50g of peeled ginger left!

Either you cut the ginger in tiny little pieces or you use a grater.

Do preheat the oven at 190 degrees Celsius.

Place baking paper on two baking trays.

Place the butter into a pot and let it melt.

Then add the milk, sugar and vanilla sugar. Stir it well.

Remove the pot from the stove and add the flour as well as the ginger.

Then stir in the almond flakes.

For each cookie place a teaspoon of the ginger almond-dough on the baking tray.

Place each baking tray into the oven for about 9 minutes.

Let the cookies cool down a bit and then remove them carefully from the tray.

The cookies taste really well when they have not cooled down completely.

They can last easily for a couple of days if the are not eaten up.
