Miss Stanhope and me love Arabic letters and stamping. We also love Syrian refugee children. That is why we made Arabic letter stamps for an art project with Syrian refugee children.  

In October we visited MALAAK NGO in Lebanon for art activities with Syrian refugee children. MALAAK NGO has its premises in Akkar, which is the Northern region on the boarder to Syria.  I had the impression, that the kids really enjoyed the art activities, where they were stamping with individual Arabic letters. The Syrian kids took a lot of their work home, but gave a lot of prints to us for the art exhibition.  Many thanks to MALAAK NGO  for letting me and Miss Stanhope stay, work and sleep there during our stay.

The size of the framed art work is roughly  35cmx35cm.

On the back of the framed work you see the a photo of the refugee child artist.
